Sheriff Sue Rahr is a 28-year veteran of law enforcement. She is King County’s first female Sheriff. With more than 1,000 employees, the King County Sheriff’s Office serves the law enforcement needs of over half a million people in unincorporated areas and 12 contract cities.  The KCSO also provides police departments for the Muckleshoot Tribe, Metro Transit, and the King County International Airport.  She will share a little about her background and the Sheriff’s Office operations.  Bring your questions! 

Event admission is $5.00 for MWA members, $15 for non-members. A cash bar and light snacks will be available.  A post-discussion mingling and noshing location will be announced at the event.
